I love Steffi with all my heart but why does it always look like she’s applauding without any feeling?
Second thing: 23 dislikes means there are 23 dickheads who understand nothing about tennis.
i just finished reading his book, which lets you understand his thoughs, joys and struggles in a whole new way and makes this moment even more special…
– made me cry
well done, andre!
@annajeehee Sorry, but I don’t agree. Andre went through a lot of physical pain his last few years, that was the primary reason he had to retire. He couldn’t do those cortisone injections in the back forever.
I have never seen anything like this. Tennis has never seen anything like Andre Agassi. He is a tennis hero and the most decent and caring human being too.
I read his book and watched this… all I can say is wow! what a champion~in tennis, in life, in everything!!!! Agassi has always been a hero, but now he’s more then that.
I remember watching this with my dad before I became a real fan of tennis, and now that I’m watching it again, it still brings up the emotion and moves me even more, to tears. bless you, Andre.
i was there, sitting behind the lady in the hat in the first 10 seconds of the video.. it was amazing. i wish i would have known what i was watching though like i know now
I just finished reading his autobiography “Open”, it’s hands-down the best sports auto-/biography I’ve ever read. (As a writer and bookseller, that’s saying a lot).

If you close your eyes and listen, it sounds like never-ending applause.. hope he never forgets that moment.

He retired too soon – guess it was his wife’s and family decision- to see his kids grow up
